About Us

Philosophy

We believe that a child's first teacher is their family.  Building a relationship between both a child's family and their teacher is our priority. In doing so, this relationship can create a strong foundation for child's success in our programs.

Our approach is simple: putting a strong emphasis on a learning environment that can nurture and foster natural creativity and exploration. We prioritize inquiry and creativity. Through this process we weave in academic skills organically, based on students interests and natural curiosity

We foster a healthy transition from home and school life for your child by practicing primary caregiving. Communication daily helps both families and teachers throughout a child's early learning process.

Hands On Learning

A child's main avenue of learning is through interactive environments and hands on play. Our environments act as a third teacher. We foster natural inquisitive learning by molding and changing the environment based on observation and developmental growth of your child.

Children as young as six weeks old, will experience daily activities through hands on play that is age appropriate stimuli to foster growth and development.

We set up our classrooms so that natural light comes in, we use natural "toys" and natural spaces for quiet reflective learning.

In our Preschool and Pre-K classes we use both the Reggio Emilia method and the Waldorf method to set up our environment, transition from space to space and celebrate milestones.

Primary Caregiving

A child's home life and school life have their own rhythm when it comes to nurturing your child's growth and development. Using a primary caregiving model, both parents and teachers can support one another in fostering a nurturing, safe and an enriching education for your child.

Primary caregiving consists of a private family and teacher Facebook group, a daily journal sent back and forth between parents and teachers, as well as bi-yearly home visits.
